would anyone like to comment on the following observations?.

the very large majority of the jws that i come into contact with on a regular basis are not wealthy and many have very low incomes, yet they still make substantial contributions to the wbts every month.

I must ask you wher did you find this paper , i think this was wery confidential, and here they are on internet, unbelvebel, also one of the latest, this dokument show that stocks is a littel thing , atleast in England, i think they get them from donaitions.

I must say this is a topic how intrest mee most of all, when i read RF book and he say only one or two in GB now abuot where the money going, i was stuned, is it realy like this?

When it comes to stocks, I have also heard that we have that, and that GB use the market, even if the usual JW never belive that, myself have be on the stock market fore a long time, and this have ruin my ekonomy, so how nows perhaps the same thing happend organisaition, even if I dont think they have so much so it can hurt there ekonomy, like I have, not so funny, but if you get in to this you have to take the result and dont blame others ,I can tell from our cong we send arond 1000$ evry month fore the litteratur, and we are only a littel cong, so it must be a lot of money, even if it cost to have all this roling on.

3 generaition JWs

when i read on this board this come to my mind.. my parents come in to the jw religion in the early 50 ties, the are what you can say very devoted jw, how are apsolutly loyal to the organisaition.

i think most of them have a nice life, they have learnd a lot o diffrent peopel, in sevice fore exampel, they have travel a lot , been on assambleys , have a lot of resposabilyti in the organisaition, and most of them are 70-80 year old now, they are still the ones how hold upp the diffrent congs, in many placeses.this is what i called first gen jw.. we as are there children was growing upp inn the truth, we was told this is the only religion, and it was no qestion, we must walk ther way, we was told we are living in the last generation, and so on, most of us in my generation follow our parents, i think 90 %, i see that a lot of peopel here is from this second gen jw,some have been very dissapointed, and leave , after serving alomost ther hole life in the organisation, perhaps some never study so much , was beliving what the parents say, and when something happend like this gen thing or 75, or bigger control , and harder dfd system.

some started to read a lot, and find things they never seen before, like all this 1925, 1944, prediktions, and also perhaps 1914 and what realy was said about that, or not said.. but a lot of 2 gen jw are still in, and try to do the best of situation like myself.. then we have third gen jw, our children, now start the problems, when we was young, it was not so comen to qestion your parents, suddenly this change, we find that our children was qestion evrything, and we have a very hard time to answer, the result is that a lot of 3 gen jw never was jw, or left wery young, in our cong we have 20 % left and 80 gone, myself of 5 children 3 are away, only one inn.. well how now whats best, one thing is clear, we as second gen was in some way forced in, it was not so easy fore us to say now, it was almost deadly sin to qestion things, i can not complain, fore me this life have been radher good, if i compare it widh what life my friends from the word have going truh.

hlc members are not to direct jw parents to refuse blood for their children any more.

in the past uk doctors could easily get a court order to force jw children to have a blood transfusion.

It seems that the latest directive from HIS at the branch office is the following.

HLC members are not to direct JW parents to refuse blood for their children any more.

In the past UK Doctors could easily get a court order to force JW children to have a blood transfusion. But the parents always had to refuse completely so that court action almost always took place

However over the past few weeks HIS policy is to encourage the JW Parents to tell the doctors that they can give their children blood,

with the following proviso.

1. Tell the Doctors that as JW Parents whilst you can not officially consent, you recognise their legal position to give blood, so they might as well give it to their child before the situation becomes critical.

2. To inform the Doctors that a child will not face any sanctions within the congregation or be treated any differently because of the treatment.

So great news for UK JW children, however this doesn't apply to JW children in other lands,

I think it shows the hypocrisy of different JW blood policies for children just because they live in different lands.

In one country you are allowed life saving treatment, in others not. and I thought that God was not partial

What is the diffrence from before, i am not sure if you have the same system in England as we have in sweden, nyself are soon in this situation widh my dotter how must do operation, so your post is intesting, how tell you this?

over the past couple of years , ive been viewing so called 'apostate' material from one source or another over the internet.

i guess i have been leading a 'double life' as the jw's love to put it ; whilst still going to the meetings i was still reading things about the history of the borganization .

Funny i think we have a radher similar expiriens, myself start reading on internet 2 years ago, ben elder fore over 20 year and quite a few years ago.

Today we have a speach about this topic, and i talk to the speaker after and tell him.

Blood issu

this blood issu is not so easy, we have our meeting last week about this, i ask the elder why he dont tell about his major components, and that we can take evry singel compponent how is taken out from this 4 major ones,he say this was so complicated, and think peopel have to read themselfs in wt 2000. .

i can say this, i think it is good that gb done this to a thing between you and the lord, perhaps evrything about the blood should be a conciens matter between us and the lord.

on the other hand, i saw on sweed television yesterday abuot this hepatit c, thing several peopel are going to sue, the state, beaucause they have this decis from bloodtransfusions, and now are waiting to die, they say that a lot of times hospital use this things unessesary, and they have never noen that they hade blood, 900 people only in sweden have hepatit c, i think that if we count how many how are dead in this using or not using blood, we have a much higer accont hwo is dead beaucause they have blood, aids , hepatit c and other, it i sems it is very dangerus to have blood today, and why did we never read about that peopel dying beacause of this, but if one die when they not have blood it is a lot of noice, in sweden i think perhaps we have 2 or 3 how die , when they not have blood, but compare this widh hundreds how die or hade bad things like aids, hepatitc beaucause they have blood ,somthing to think about.
